LJ Awards?
On this post, I'm nominated for most creative and most interesting journal. Um, if my journal is interesting, you need to get out more. I'll go with creative, but I'm sure the demographics of LJ are more likely to vote for some over-active hard-to-read journal that abuses non-standard HTML like the alpha filter or changing toolbar colors, rather than one that actually attempts to adhere to good design concepts and real HTML/CSS compliance. Yes, I'm a grumpy old man. Bite me.
Update: I checked out the entire crew of "creative" and "interesting" people. Yes, I had a lot of time on my hands at work. Anyway, the interesting people were not, and the creative people were not, with one notable exception.
infanta has a very unique layout, and it is a creative use of iFrames. Unfortunately, like
lonelyemokid, she has built the page so it only looks good at one resolution. If you use anything other than maximized 1024x768, you get odd results. But, a great use/abuse of iframes, and a nice-looking (if rather LARGE) background image. Props to her.
