Saw a Texas flag Jesus fish this morning. It had the flag peeking through
the lines, accompanied by the phrase, "God loves Texas." That's disturbing.

Saw a clip of Bush talking about the "tax gap" existing in a theoretical
Kerry presidency, defined as the difference between services promised and
taxes not promised. The President then went on to say Kerry would close
that gap by taxing everyone. Of course, this new term is just a Bushist way
of saying "deficit" and he didn't bother to mention that he doesn't have any
plan at all to close that gap. Of course, he'll talk about how he's
lowering taxes (imperceptibly for most of us), but leave out the fact that
he wants to spend billions we don't have. Yet. Those kids and grandkids of
ours are going to have Sweden-like taxes the way things are going.
