OK, not only am I a thousand miles from the lovely enygma, doing nothing at all the majority of the time, but then LJ stops working for the majority of the day!

ARGH!

Well, at least old Clint Eastwood movies are on TNT...

lj hates me, hell my computer hates me too...lol....i did download opra and i set it as my default, it does seem to be quicker and smoother running

What, you don't keep a constantly updated list of MP3s normally? I'm up to 6800+ tracks in my Excel spreadsheet. :-)

lol see i have each cd listed separately in notepad files...i used to keep it that way, and then i was like wait excel will let me alphatize em, lol, it doesnt help that i've downloaded like 200 songs in the last 2 days

I run each CD into a text file, then play with it, import into Excel as CSV, merge with existing file (now half a meg or more). Tada!

I would never print this monster, though - over 100 pages by now.

I miss my cable modem. Damned dialup purgatory I'm stuck in...

i must do it the ass backwards way, i open each cd in winamp, generate a text list, and paste it into excel, remove the ".mp3" thru find and replace...

Ah, I remember DOS. I use "dir /o/b/s > textfile.txt" for each CD, then find-and-replace to remove the directory names and file extensions. I'm not as anal as some folks, though - I don't have a database containing album name, genre, and year. :-)
