Househunting

OK, so the first house we put a bid on we lost due to the rapacious greed of the seller. Well, maybe just the incredible short-sightedness of the seller and the willingness of another buyer to pay that much.

Second house, we didn't get the bid in before it was under contract to someone else, even though the place had been on the market for months. Figure the odds.

Now, we have put a bid on a very nice place with an enormous backyard. Sure, the place has been painted pink on the outside and neither of us is named Mellencamp. But, overall, very nice and we offered a decent price for it. Now, we have to wait and see. I hate waiting. She hates waiting. He is very bad at waiting. But, we have no choice, darn it.

We are buying the house. We kick ass. Woohoo!

House!

As the kids say today, "Woot!"

We are going to have a house of our very own in a mere six weeks. woohoo!

I think we'll be playing bocce ball in that enormous backyard or something. :-)
