Stupid People

I've got a team project to complete in one of my IT classes. The team
leader (who actually manages a data center so you'd think would be clueful)
has been attempting to discuss how to get to a point where we might be able
to hammer out a consensus on how to start the beginning stages of planning
the project. This has been going on for eight weeks of a 10-week project.
Down to 14 days, and NOTHING is started yet. Astounding.

Morons are fun

This morning some moron skidded around the corner behind me, completely
blowing past a stop sign (not even the usual Texan "slow slightly" thing),
and proceeded to tailgate me all the way in to work. On Christoval Highway,
he was so close to me I began to think we were carpooling. And, there was
plenty of opportunity to pass (not much traffic at 6:30), yet he just stuck
to my bumper like a giant pickup-sized barnacle. Swung onto Chadbourne,
pulled in front of someone who thought the speed limit was 35 instead of 50,
and pickup boy found a way to squeeze in between the car I'd nearly cut off
and my back bumper. He apparently found some sort of homoerotic automobile
love there, or something. As soon as we got through the gate, he turned
onto the road which leads to the childcare center. I sure hope he's not
driving like that with a little kid in the car. I can't help but wonder
what in the world is going through people's minds that drive like that.
