I was playing with the various kinds of opacity in Fireworks. Think it's a bit too weird?

the two effects I'm seeing seem to oppose one another... the burn through is cool and the cross-court-slide is good too, but to my tastes, not together. :D

Yeah, I just set the sliding piece to "difference" opacity and let it go. Didn't spend a lot of time on it, but it sure looks odd.

It's cool at first, but then that darker fade effect gives a "diseased" look to the faces. :-/

I don't particularly like the effect either, but it was the only one of the various "difference" type opacity settings that produced anything remotely viewable.
