As others have said recently, why are we debating whether Iraq is a bad guy or not, when they keep shooting at us? It's not rocket science - if they are shooting at our spy planes, which are flying in areas that are sanctioned by international accord and the peace treaty we forced them to sign at gunpoint, they are hiding shit. DUH!

What I find intriguing is the amount of "America is a terrorist country" sentiment that is doing the rounds of various (American) LiveJournals at the moment. Furthermore, their logic (?) states that America is a terrorist country because they shoot at these most probably innocent (in their words) countries, and that America makes many attempts at maintaining their dominance of the world.

I hate all this political rubbish. I wish people would understand that America may not be a totally angelic country, but it's doing its best in these turbulent times.

Hey, you're not allowed to say anything nice about the US, that throws off the America-bashers. Darned foreigners thinking you kin tell us'ns whut's whut! heh

Seriously, I think you can obviously point to things that my country has done that are stupid, arrogant, and (in the end) counterproductive. But, when some bad guy threatens some little guy, do folks ask for help from Russia or Germany, or do they ask for the US to come in and be our imperialist arrogant best? :-)
