Member of Parliament plays video games

Norwegian MP plays while debate rages. The debate, of course, being whether Norway would send any of their crack troops to help out in a coalition attack on Iraq. Once again, the public (outside Norway anyhow) lets loose a collective, "so what?"

I wish I could get Metalion for my Palm, though. It looks sweet, but it's PocketPC only for now.

legislative bodies treat every matter as if it were life and death... would it be less egregious if they were discussing immigration reform? there just wouldn't be any cameras bothering to film it. obviously he'd just already made his mind up and didn't need to hear any more. everyone needs a break sometimes.

of course i'm sure you already felt that way... just venting at stupid people...

I'm amused that this was worth putting in the newspaper for a national news service. Seriously, who cares? Is it more egregious for this guy to be playing video games than the usual malfeasance we see in the legislature of the US on a near-daily basis?
