Last Tile Post

Well, last tile post until I get some photos online, anyway.

The tile dudes finished up this morning, the kitchen sink is in place, and all is right with the world. Except, of course, that the two women I talk to at work have left me. One to Georgia and the other to the next building over. The one who's going to Georgia is the one I'll miss most. Why can't this company keep any interesting non-retired people? Almost every one of my coworkers is 50 years old and annoying as shit.

It'll be a few weeks until the digicam returns from Europe.

The sink is a simple stainless steel double-sink. Nothing fancy, but it's there and isn't PINK as the old sink was.

Stainless steel is always nice. I'm in love with a Kohler sink that has a built in boiling pot. It's so cool!

Since I was just looking for a basic sink, I looked at the Kohler double-sink model and then the store brand and wondered what the five hundred dollar difference was. I couldn't find one.

Yeah, probably a case of paying for the brand in that instance.

The steamer basket sink is interesting, but three grand interesting? I'll use the stove and steamer basket. :-)

That's why I'm drooling instead of buying. If I was gonna spend that kinda money I'd be buying a gourmet stove.

Sorry to hear that you lost some friends at work. I know how sometimes it's the people around you that make your job easier to enjoy.

Considering the majority of folks at work are old geezers, it's the few younger folks that make the day more interesting.
