Tonight's culinary excursion was Galbi, a Korean barbecued rib meal. The fried rice was an unqualified success (even though I think I could have done better). The ribs, on the other hand, not so much. Oh, they taste just fine, but the Boy complained about the spiciness, and the Woman just wants ribs to have barbecue sauce on 'em in the Texan tradition. Oh, well. Nothing ventured, and all that...

You'd also have to take into consideration his inability to beat an egg, tendancies to slice his hand with a potato peeler, and complete inability to cook something without a following a recipe to exact specifications (no matter how rudimentary) prior to making an honest invitation. But, if these things are ok (keep band-aids and absorbant material on hand), then have a ball!

*laugh* My hubby is finally....after 12 years...becoming less anal about following recipes. Luckily he's not accident prone and he's an excellent cook.
