I don't mind spelling errors, it's the lack of understanding by most people of any word more complex than the ones they heard on the playground in 4th grade. It's quite perplexing when I have to continually explain my vocabulary to my students, most of whom are "better educated" than I. Eh! No biggee.

In my own little world, though, spelling errors occur when the brain is going faster than the fingers.
