Michael Phelps, fastest swimmer on record, smoked pot. Well, that proves it then - doing drugs leads to nothing but failure. Some other pot-smokers I know of, just off the top of my head: President Obama, former President Bush, former President Clinton… Yep, a road to ruin there.

My favorite part of the story (at least on NPR) was that this is so out of character for Phelps, and that he's not a "partier." Dude got a DWI a few years ago!

In order to keep the story in line with his myth, he has to pretend to be contrite about this horrible and out-of-character lapse in judgement. What a crock.
