Boy did I catch a lot of sh*t from the LJBash post. Someone the irony seemed lost on everyone. Definetly not within the realm of 'winning friends and influencing people'.
Well - I thought the irony of the situation was somewhat funny! Apparently - others were not at all amused.
And yes - such is life. I see this time and time again in my work. And the only answer is as I posted in my journal entry for today!
(By the way - I'm tempted to pick up a couple boxes of chocolate - and leave them in the hotel lobby in March - just to make a point. But then again - maybe I should follow your gracious example.)
I'm not being especially gracious, just tired. I attempted to help with the shirts, hit the wall twice, and then tried to explain that all could have been avoided if the shroud of secrecy was lifted a bit from the "Admin-only" forums. After contributing my artwork and not being acknowledged, I just gave up.
Meanwhile, since I'm closing on a new house, and flying all over the country next month, I can't go anyhow. Hope it is a good time, and I certainly expect to see many many photos and videos of the festivities. :-)
